Steady State Studies

MACSE can help you build steady state simulation models for complex units (including reactors, towers, compressors) based on plant data. These steady state models can be created to evaluate different operating conditions. Once the models are created, MACSE returns all the model to the plant process engineer in charge and give support when it is needed.

Process engineers are frequently involved on field surveys and are sometimes confronted to apparent contradictions between field data and Historian/DCS data. At MACSE, we can do DATA RECONCILIATION in order to identify and discard biased data and create a steady state simulation model matching plant data.

Process design consultants are also likely to request MACSE for help on:

- Detailed hydraulics simulation;

- Support on steady state softwares like Hysys or Unisim Design;

- Protect their proprietary calculations or know-how in simulations sent to customer (use of extensions);

- Model convergence problems.

These studies can be done using your models or we can build new models with Hysys, Unisim Design or any other simulation software available in the market.
